Couplings with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 32 mm must not be used for pumping liquid or gaseous fluids of group 1 (hazardous) according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Couplings with nominal diameters of more than 32 mm may only be used for pumping group 2 (non-hazardous) liquid fluids according to the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. If used with other media, a review by Schwer Fittings should be requested. The leakage test in accordance with ISO 18869:2017, paragraph 9.1, was carried out using a radial load of 50 N and a lever length of 10x the nominal diameter. No leakage was detected.
